Individual home owners will be able to participate by simply registering on our site then getting their permit from the city of Park Ridge.

WHAT THIS ENTITLES YOU TO:

• Keller Williams will promote this one day event in a variety of media outlets
• Maps of all participating addresses will be available on our website and to all registered sales sites
• Sale signs
• More "perks" may become available closer to the sale date

HOW DO I REGISTER FOR THIS EVENT?

• click here to Provide us with contact information so we can keep you updated on any changes to the sale.
• click here to Register your sale with the City of Park Ridge for a FREE permit. A copy of the "permit" must be faxed (847-692-6179 attn: Robbin) or brought into our office (700 Busse Hwy) in order for your address to be listed in the official sale map, and included in any promotions

CITY OF PARK RIDGE RULES RE: GARAGE SALES

1. A permit from the City is required for every garage sale.
2. This permit must be displayed at the location of the sale while it is in progress.
3. No more than three permits may be issued for the same location in any calendar year.
4. This permit is valid for no more than three consecutive days, shown above.
5. Display and sale of goods are permitted only between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
6. Signs and banners advertising the garage sale or giving directions to the location of the sale may not be attached to any utility pole, traffic control device or tree, or placed anywhere within the public right-of-way, including the sidewalk, berm, parkway or street, anywhere within the City of Park Ridge.
   
   The Supervising Resident of the property where the sale is located shall be presumed to be the person placing or causing the placement of signs or advertising. Any signs or advertising which violates this rule may be removed by any person and discarded in any trash container.

Your sale dates do not need to be limited to September 6th, but must include it. Keller Williams will only be promoting the sale for said date. Any additional promotions will be of your own choosing and of your own expense.

All Park Ridge rules and regulations regarding garage sales and parking will still apply. There is no rain date scheduled for this event.

IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO HOLD A SALE AT YOUR ADDRESS:

Please consider donating your gently used items (soft goods only) to Helping Our Heroes green drop box. All proceeds benefit LOCAL heroes such as our Illinois Military Service men/women, firemen/women, policemen/women, and veterans. The drop box is conveniently located in our parking lot at 700 Busse Hwy., Park Ridge.
